NC Pre-K Applications for the 2026-27 School Year

Help Us Spread the Word About NC Pre-K!

Registration for the 2026–2027 Scotland County Schools NC Pre-K Program is still open, and we need your help reaching families with eligible children!

If you, a family member, friend, neighbor, coworker, or someone you know has a child who will be 4 years old by August 31, 2026, they may qualify for our NC Pre-K program.

To learn more about eligibility, contact the NC Pre-K Department at 910-276-1138 or visit the A.B. Gibson Building, 322 South Main Street, Laurinburg. Applications are available on-site.

When applying, please bring:

  • Child's birth certificate
  • Proof of residency
  • Proof of income

Your child's current immunization record, health assessment, and dental screening must be submitted within the first 30 days of attendance.

Need help with the application? Staff are available for on-site registration assistance at the A.B. Gibson Building:

  • Monday–Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.
  • Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
